Nigeria needs 1.52mbd capacity to meet petrol demand by 2025

APRNEWS - With increased global competition in the crude oil production space, and the need to find a solution to the rising subsidy payments, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), has said the country needs a refining capacity of about 1.52 million barrels per stream day (MBPSD), to meet its premium motor spirit (PMS) requirement by 2025


FG hails Huawei over impact on Nigeria’s ICT sector

APRNEWS - The impact of world’s leading communication giant, Huawei Technologie, has made noticeable impacts in Nigeria, the country’s Federal Government has said.

The Nigeria’s Minister of Communications, Dr Adebayo Shittu, who made the assertion spoke during a meeting with the Chairman, Supervisory Board, Huawei Technologies, Mr Jason Li, in Lagos.


FMC Makurdi records first successful knee replacement surgery

In it effort to end medical tourism in the country, the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Makurdi, Benue State, has recorded its first total knee replacement surgery.This followed successful spinal cord surgeries that were successfully conducted at the centre in 2018.
