APRNEWS : Japan looks into claim that China running covert police stations

APRNEWS - Safeguard Defenders, an Asia-focused rights group based in Spain, has published two reports since September alleging that Chinese authorities have established 102 overseas police stations in 53 countries, including Japan.

China has dismissed the allegations and on Thursday its foreign ministry denied that such police stations existed.

Big scandal - The court of accounts makes a report ... 74 Billion disappeared?

We have just learned of a big financial scandal within the Ivorian Treasury.

The Court noted that the repayments of bond loans, Treasury bonds and Treasury bills are not tracked in the General Account of the Finance Administration and a difference of 73,771,744,061 F between the amount of personnel expenses recorded in the presentation report of the regulatory bill (1 629 081 436 302 F) and that appearing in the CGAF (1 702 853 180 363 F).

Ghanaian schools to reopen amid virus wave fears

Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo has announced dates for reopening of schools across the country amid fears of a second coronavirus wave in the west African country.

Schools were shut in March last year after the country reported its first case of the virus. Since then more than 55,000 cases have been confirmed, with 54,005 recoveries and more than 300 deaths.
