APRNEWS - Finally, the eight months legal battle for the presidency of Nigeria has come to an end, with President Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, emerging victorious.

The Supreme Court, yesterday, agreed with the September 6 verdict of the Presidential Election Petition Court, PEPC, on all counts.

APRNEWS - Idris made this revelation in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja on Monday.

The minister noted this was a mandate given to him by the president.

He added that Tinubu also mandated him to promote patriotism, honesty, and transparency as the core values of the administration.

APRNEWS - This came as the British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC, said there was no evidence to show that Tinubu submitted forged certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

However, Atiku in a swift response, described the BBC report as a jaundiced and hatchet job.
