APRNEWS - Vatebra, has for the third time consecutively emerged winner of the Tech Company of the Year Award at the 4th edition of the Nigeria Technology Awards (NiTA) in Lagos, Nigeria.

The tech firm with competencies in customised portal, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), cloud, e-payments and energy solutions has demonstrated its leadership in the Nigeria technology space by winning the most coveted award of the night.

The yearly award, organised by Beta Media 360, celebrates technology companies that has demonstrated leadership, success and outstanding quality service in Nigeria for the year in review.

In January 2018, Vatebra officially opened her East African office in Nairobi Kenya to further bridge the gap in innovative software solutions in the continent of Africa.

Receiving the award, Managing Director, Vatebra Limited, Kunle Akinniran, said winning the NiTA award three times consecutively is evidence to the entire teams input, commitment and hard work in providing innovative software solutions that works for Africa.

He added that Vatebra through her innovation hub recently hosted the second iteration of her tech meet-up known as CODIFY.

Deputy Managing Director, Vatebra, Mike Aigbe, said the idea of hosting a tech meet-up is not just to bring techies together but to continuously bridge the skill-gap in the technology space by providing the ambience and the innovative education needed to grow the industry.

Vatebra in May, 2018 also gave back to the society through her Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative known as walk-for-charity where staffs and friends of Vatebra Limited had a 6km charity walk in Victoria Island and also donated some items to the Living Fountain Orphanage.
