Six Makeup Looks Inspired By The 76th Golden Globes Awards

APRNEWS - The 76th annual Golden Globe Awards opened up the awards season in Los Angeles with makeup and hair looks that will inspire beauty trends for the entire year.

This year, the world’s celebrities and their makeup artists came up with various new looks. Several stars did bold colourful eyes; actress Lupita Nyong’o one of the stars of Black Panther; matched her cool skin tone with cobalt-blue eyelashes and Calvin Klein dress of the same shade.

However, Camilla Belle makeup artiste created beautiful teal green smoky eyes, slightly blushed cheeks and paired it with soft pink-nude lips.

Thandie Newton’s take on the 70s disco-girl look in an enormous hair, sultry dark smoky eyes and a sparkly dress while drinking champagne on a yacht in the south of France.

Danai Gurira rich-toned luminous skin was subtle but still bold enough to stand out like a glittering star. She paired her flawless well-
moisturised face with glossy wine-red lips.

Another glowing goddess is singer Janelle Monae whose entire look for the night screamed glow as bright as you can. You can try this look out by mixing a little strobe cream from Mac cosmetics with a lightweight foundation to get a perfectly glowing base.

To close off a night of beauty is Lady Gaga; star of the award-winning film A Star Is Born in a head to toe monochromatic princess ensemble. She stayed on the trend by combining electric blue hair with a stunning dress and also chose a pink smoky eye which shows that 2019 is all about colour.
